A pallet is not a tonne: compare the actual weight
A lower pallet price can hide a smaller quantity. Start with the net weight of the pellets, then convert the price to the same unit. Keep packaging and delivery separate from that first comparison.
Count kilograms before comparing prices
These are fictional examples, not current offers. Pallet A holds 65 bags of 15 kg: 975 kg. At €292.50, its goods price is €292.50 ÷ 975 × 1,000 = €300/t. Pallet B holds 70 bags of 15 kg: 1,050 kg. At €304.50, it works out at €290/t. B costs more at checkout but less per kilogram.
Use the stated net pellet mass, excluding the wooden pallet and wrapping. Do not assume that every pallet contains the same number of bags. If a listing gives only a pallet price and no reliable mass, leave the tonne comparison unresolved until the seller confirms it.
A comparison unit is not a purchase unit
At €300/t, a 15 kg equivalent costs €4.50. That helps compare differently sized packs; it does not mean the seller offers individual €4.50 bags. A pallet-only offer still requires a whole pallet. For an actual 10 kg bag, €300/t corresponds to €3, so check the real package size before multiplying by your bag count.
On Siltuma Cena, use a confirmed offer and its stated pallet mass when forming a pallet order. A quantity calculated from a normalized price cannot establish stock, minimum order or split-pallet availability. Check the product page again before paying. Two offers with the same €/t can still differ in delivery costs, declared product properties and suitability for your boiler.
| Pack | Calculation |
|---|---|
| A: 65 × 15 kg | 975 kg; €292.50 → €300/t |
| B: 70 × 15 kg | 1,050 kg; €304.50 → €290/t |
| 15 kg equivalent at €300/t | €4.50; not a promise of bag sales |
Questions for the seller
- How many bags and kilograms are included in this exact pallet?
- Can I buy individual bags, and is their price different?
- Does the advertised price include packaging or a pallet deposit?
